Edward River Council aims to preserve the history of the Council area through conservation of significant buildings. The Local Heritage Fund provides a grants program for the preservation, enhancement and documentation of heritage within the Edward River Council area.
Council partners with NSW Heritage to provide small to medium grants, generally on a dollar-for-dollar funding basis.
The grants are aimed at supporting owners of significant heritage buildings, listed heritage buildings or items in the Heritage Conservation Area under the Conargo and Deniliquin Environmental Plans.
Applications are generally advertised in May each year.
Information can be obtained from Council’s Customer Service Centre or by contacting Environmental Services Support Officer, Margie Butcher, on (03) 5898 3000 or via email at council@edwardriver.nsw.gov.au
If a current round is open, you will find application forms and guidelines in the Document Library on this page.
