Edward River 2050 Fast Track for Growth

The Edward River 2050 Fast Track for Growth strategy is Council's response to the Our Region Your Say - Sefton's Report which highlighted the need for place-based planning, stronger investment readiness and more proactive regional advocacy.

The Strategy sets out a clear vision for sustainable growth over the next 25+ years, providing a coordinated approach to urban expansion, infill development and investment in essential services such as health, education, housing, industry, recreation, and arts and culture.

Edward River 2050 Fast Track for Growth is a blueprint that sets out our region's competitive advantage and economic opportunities, and will direct residential, commercial and industrial expansion in a sustainable and strategic way. We've heard from you, our community, that we need to grow to prosper. This strategy will provide our Council with a clear vision for growth.
