The Deniliquin Sports and Entertainment Stadium was used, as an Evacuation Centre during the flood event in 2022. This supported the region, including Deniliquin, Moama, Barham and smaller villages with:

  • Registration of evacuated people,
  • Supply of beds, meals, toilets, first aid, counselling, and support services,
  • Companion and larger animal shelter
