Salary: Band 2 Level 2 Grade 9 ($68,135.60 - $85,092.03)

As part of Edward River Council you will be the first line of contact for supporting ICT systems, playing a key role in enhancing our services and supporting critical ICT projects across the council. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual to assist with system troubleshooting, project delivery, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to user issues, including walking users through problem solving process and following up with users to see problems through to resolution.
- Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support, ensuring proper recording, documentation and closure.
- Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
- Update customer data and produce activity reports.
- Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
- Assist all users to become efficient, compliant and effective users of IT systems.
- Develop documentation of system solutions and general user guides as required.
- Provide operational support of implemented systems and solutions
- Maintain a high level of customer service excellence, ensuring Council values of Leadership, Excellence, Accountability, and Delivery are upheld in every interaction.
- Work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
Skills and Experience:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Sound troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address and resolve ICT issues.
- Good time management to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with staff, run training sessions, and collaborate across the organization.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while delivering high-quality service.
- A commitment to customer service excellence in line with Council’s core values.
