Published on 30 May 2024

Edward River Council is pleased to announce that the Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) Plan is in its final stages of design.

Every five years Council researches and prepares the Integrated Water Cycle Management Plan. The plan investigates the town’s water, wastewater and recycled water use and needs into the future.

As part of the collaborative effort to finalise this essential plan, the Council is inviting the community to attend an in-person drop-in session.

Event Details:

• Date: Tuesday 4 June 2024

• Time: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM

• Location: Council Chambers

During this session, the work that has been completed will be presented and community feedback will be sought on the plan’s recommendations.

Edward River Council’s acting Chief Executive Officer, Gary Arnold, emphasised the importance of the drop-in session, “This is a valuable chance for residents to provide input and engage with the planning process, and ensure that the plan meets the community’s needs”.

Edward River Council encourages all interested parties to attend and contribute to the future management of the area’s water resources – help us to use water better, smarter and more sustainably.
