Edward River Council is pleased to announce that the first buyer of an Edward River Village villa has moved into their brand new home this week.

The lucky buyer purchased a ‘Pretty Pine’ villa, which features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, and a total of 168 square meters.

Kate Sparks from Deni Real Estate, who is managing the sale of Edward River Village, located in central Deniliquin, expressed her excitement for the new occupants:

“This is a team effort, collaborating with the Edward River Council, and we can look forward to more citizens moving into this amazing development soon!” said Ms Sparks.

The six recently completed home represent the completion of Stage 1 of the development and are ready for their very first residents to move in and make their own.

Edward River Mayor, Cr Peta Betts, congratulated the first residents of Edward River Village and expects them to have neighbours in the near future:

“We can’t wait to watch how this blossoming community of retirees will evolve over the coming months and years,” said Cr Betts.

The Edward River Village is open every Saturday from 10am-12pm during July to showcase the beautiful, low-maintenance homes to both Edward River locals and visitors to the region.
