Council will ensure value for money through a balanced, whole-of-life evaluation. Consideration will be given to financial, social, ethical, local economic and environmental factors.

Contracts Register

Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) NSW Councils must publicly disclose certain information in a register of contracts. A Contract made with a private sector body worth more than $150,000 must be included on this register. Edwards River Council's current Contract Register is available here(PDF, 58KB) for download.

Tips for Completing Tender Submissions

To give your submission the best chance of success it is important to:

• complete all the required returnable schedules / tender forms
• include all the requested information in each schedule
• include only information that is relevant to the tender requirements
• include attachments only where requested and necessary
• not include promotional materials
• ensure contact details are correct
• check pricing schedules are calculated correctly and include or exclude GST where applicable
• not include cover letters with exclusions or special conditions
• allow sufficient time to ensure your submission is received prior to the closing time
