Committees of Council

Community involvement in managing community facilities provides better outcomes for everyone - engaging and including residents and providing them with an opportunity to participate in local life. The involvement of volunteers in committees established under Section 355 of the Local Government Act 1993 not only allows them to help maintain and operate important community facilities, but also to have a voice in the decision-making process. These committees are known as Section 355 Committees.

Current S355 Committees

Council's current Section 355 Committees include:

  • Blighty Hall Committee
  • Booroorban Hall Committee
  • Conargo Hall and Recreation Ground Committee
  • Mayrung Hall Committee
  • Pretty Pine Hall Committee
  • Wanganella Hall Committee
